Minimalist viewer app that enables you to visualize Markdown and MultiMarkdown documents
Working with the Marked application is extremely easy: simply drag and drop the file you are currently working on on top of its Dock icon, and the utility automatically opens a new window where you can preview the markup, but also statistical data about the document, such as the word countdown.
Marked is able to work with the standard Markdown language, with MultiMarkdown, but also with the Discount GFM version. At the same time, the app allows you to quickly switch between multiple styles: from the drop down menu placed in the bottom left corner select one that matches your needs.
Note that you also have the option to add your own styles by integrating custom CSS stylesheets via the Preferences window. This is very useful because the style can be preserved when printing the document, or if you export it to PDF or HTML files.

Even though Marked does not look like a complex application, via the Settings menu placed in the bottom right corner of the main window you can quickly access a wide collection of useful capabilities: you can visualize document statistics, validate external links, highlight markup errors, copy the rich text without having to go to the source code window, and so on.
To conclude, Marked comes with a minimalist, user friendly design that makes it very east to use, but also packs efficient tools that can help you reduce the time you spend working on Markdown documents.
